CRETE: Pakistani man threatened 2 women with a knife

The 27-year-old was arrested and taken to Venizelio Hospital in Heraklion, Crete.

A Pakistani man holding a knife threatened two women, aged 33 and 34, on Friday afternoon in the Municipality of Phaistos, Heraklion.

The two women, sisters, reacted immediately and notified the police. When the police arrived at the scene, they immobilised the perpetrator, but he managed to injure himself with the knife before being arrested.

The 27-year-old was arrested and taken to Venizelio Hospital, where he was admitted to the Psychiatric Clinic for further monitoring, Creta One reported.
