Foreign Ministry: Greece Welcomes Long-Awaited Israel-Hamas Agreement

The Greek Ministry of Foreign Affairs has expressed its warm approval of the long-awaited ceasefire and hostage exchange between Israel and Hamas, sharing its satisfaction in a social media post.

"Greece warmly welcomes the long-awaited ceasefire agreement and the release of the hostages," the Foreign Ministry stated in an English-language post regarding the agreement.

The Ministry emphasized that "this agreement could mark a turning point for establishing lasting stability in the region" and urged both sides to adhere to the terms. It further stressed: "It is now time to uphold this agreement, ensure the safe return of hostages to their homes, alleviate the suffering of civilians, and increase humanitarian aid to the people of Gaza."
