La Repubblica offers its own "response" to the issue of over-tourism through a travelogue in the Cyclades.

The international media encourages its readers "to leave Mykonos and Santorini to the crowds and to seek out corners of Greece where they can enjoy history and myth in an atmosphere of intense spirituality without crowds, among ancient olive trees, ancient temples, churches, and monasteries."

According to the extensive feature, "Sifnos represents the essence of the Cyclades. Nature, culture, and Christianity are palpable in every square meter. The island has more than 300 scattered chapels and churches, including the chapel of the Seven Martyrs, where the small blue dome merges with the surrounding sea.

Naxos stands out for its genuine natural monuments over 600 years old. Walking here is like immersing yourself in a millennia-old history that "binds" man to the land. At sunset, the ancient rocks of the largest island in the Cyclades create captivating light and shadow plays.

Ios is the timeless place of youthful energy in Greece, evolving into a refined destination of history and culture. The tomb of Homer and the prehistoric settlement of Skarkos attract international interest from travelers of all countries and ages."
