Amidst Personal Challenges, Aryna Sabalenka and Georgios Frangulis Strengthen Their Bond

Aryna Sabalenka's boyfriend, Georgios Frangulis, is a multi-millionaire CEO and has been a significant part of her journey, having been publicly revealed as her partner not long after the tragic passing of her ex-boyfriend.

Sabalenka, who competed in the 2024 WTA Finals, set her sights on achieving a third consecutive Australian Open title in 2025, supported by Frangulis throughout.

Frangulis, the CEO of the global acai company Oakberry, has become a familiar figure in Sabalenka's support team. Born in Brazil with Greek roots, he frequently receives recognition from Sabalenka during her victory speeches. Earlier in the year, after winning in Brisbane, Sabalenka lauded his invaluable support. The couple began their relationship last year, and with Frangulis by her side, the 26-year-old has secured four titles, though a fifth eluded her in Melbourne.

Their relationship became public in May at the Emilia-Romagna Grand Prix, where they were seen together in the Haas garage, sponsored by Oakberry. This came following the sudden death of Sabalenka's ex-boyfriend, Konstantin Koltsov, a former ice hockey professional, who tragically fell from a hotel balcony in Miami. Despite their separation, Sabalenka expressed deep sorrow over his passing.

Moreover, Sabalenka holds a sponsorship deal with Oakberry, initiated before the previous Australian Open. Frangulis has praised Sabalenka as a leading figure for tennis's future and is enthusiastic about their collaboration. Since founding Oakberry in 2016, Frangulis has expanded it to over 35 countries, specializing in acai bowls and smoothies. His successful venture has contributed to an estimated net worth of £60 million to £80 million.

While Sabalenka aspired to make history by securing a third consecutive Australian Open title, she faced a challenging match against Madison Keys. The thrilling encounter gripped the Rod Laver Arena audience, culminating in a tense 6-3, 2-6, 7-5 defeat, leaving Sabalenka just short of her historic goal.
