Princess Beatrice and her husband, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, have joyfully announced the birth of their second daughter, Athena Elizabeth Rose. The baby girl was born on 22 January 2025 at the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital in London. Despite arriving several weeks early, both mother and baby are reported to be healthy and doing well.

Her late grandfather, Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, was born Prince Philip of Greece and Denmark on the Greek island of Corfu.
