Archbishop Elpidophoros of America presented to His All-Holiness Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew the deepest respects and best wishes of His flock in America, on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of his election and enthronement as Ecumenical Patriarch.
On behalf of the faithful, His Eminence presented the Patriarch with a custom set of Hierarchical Engolpion.
The Patriarch, thanking the faithful of America for this kind gesture, said with satisfaction that he would wear them in the Divine Liturgy on the coming Sunday of Orthodoxy.
