The agreement, signed by Israeli Health Minister Uriel Buso and Greek counterpart Adonis Georgiadis, has a duration of five years, with an optional five-year extension. It facilitates reciprocal visits and consultations between medical experts from both countries, along with the organization of collaborative conferences.
This agreement marks Adonis Georgiadis's first visit to Israel since October 7th. In a gesture of support, he expressed solidarity with Israel's efforts to secure the release of hostages held by Hamas.
