It comes as no surprise that Greece has been included as one of the world’s top 5 summer destinations in 2019 for luxury travellers!
Luxury travel network Virtuoso released its Top 10 list based on future bookings, which saw Greece come in at number 5.
The United States is the most popular destination for 2019, followed by Italy in second place, the United Kingdom in third and France in fourth position.
Based on future bookings from Virtuoso member agencies, the Top 10 list also includes South Africa (6th position), Spain (7th), Germany (8th), Ireland (9th) and The Netherlands (10th).
Europe is always a favorite destination among upscale travelers, claiming eight spots in the Top 10, due to its history, culture, cuisine and abundant luxury offerings.
Data is sourced from Virtuoso’s U.S. travel agency members and includes travel for June, July and August 2019.
