At the time of writing, the coronavirus (COVID-19) has reportedly infected 5,588,356 people worldwide and 347,873 Â people are deceased. That number need not have been so high. So what lessons can be learnt?
Since the COVID-19 pandemic we have, in a show of global solidarity, made our own ‘Sophie’s choice” – health over economy, which is the only right decision. Hopefully the current epidemic will help us to realise the acute danger posed by global dissent.
