A monumental statue titled “Jesus Risen,” designed by Italian sculptor Alessandro Mutto, is set to be installed atop the historic Terra Sancta High School in Jerusalem’s Christian Quarter. The 10-meter-high sculpture, made of polychromatic steel and bronze, will reflect sunlight and change in appearance throughout the day, marking a significant addition to the city’s landscape. Father Ibrahim Faltas, who previously opened the first swimming pool in the Old City, is spearheading this ambitious project.
