A Greek appeals court has reduced the prison sentences of 11 men involved in smuggling 1.2 metric tons of cocaine from the Caribbean to Europe and Africa, one of Greece’s largest drug busts. Initially sentenced to life in 2021, the highest sentence is now 16 years. The defendants plan to appeal to the top court, citing concerns over police infiltration.
