In response to an H5N1 avian influenza case reported in Bulgaria, the Greek Ministry of Rural Development and Food has launched preventative inspections across the country. While there are no immediate concerns in Greek poultry farms, local veterinary services are conducting inspections and collecting samples for testing at the National Reference Laboratory to safeguard the domestic poultry industry.
