Patients will drive through the site, wind down their windows and be tested directly out of the car window. The process takes longer than five minutes. On the first day, more than 70 citizens were tested at the 'drive-thru'. According to sources, it will be extended to the rest of Greece. The President of the National Public Health Organization (EODY) Panagiotis Arkoumaneas, visited the drive-in coronavirus testing station on Wednesday to see and closely coordinate the program. The latest information from EODY reported that nine new cases of coronavirus were confirmed in Xanthi. One of them concerns an administrative staff member from the Democritus University of Thrace.
