A groundbreaking new treatment for multiple sclerosis is set to begin clinical trials in Greece by mid-2024, offering hope to patients worldwide. Led by Dr. Steven Petratos of Monash University, the treatment, Diaprotectome, has shown promising results in preclinical studies, potentially reversing neurological damage caused by the disease. This oral therapy, designed to work alongside existing medications, will focus on improving cognitive function, fatigue, and disability progression, with plans to recruit 400 participants across Greece.
