Vefa Alexiadou Passes Away at 91

Vefa Alexiadou, beloved Greek chef and cookbook author, has passed away at 91. She was a prominent figure in Greek culinary arts, known for her television appearances and numerous cookbooks.

Christina Xenos, a 1998 graduate of Kettering Fairmont High School who now lives in Los Angeles, CA, will compete on a Greek-themed episode of “Chopped” — airing 8 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 22 on Food Network (CONTRIBUTED PHOTO).
