The Louvre Museum will open a new Byzantine Arts and Eastern Christianity section in 2027, featuring 1,000 artifacts. Announced by Louvre President Laurence de Carr, the wing will highlight Byzantine culture and foster collaboration with Greece. It will be located at the museum’s center, connecting with other major collections like Greek, Roman, and Islamic art.
