Irini Mourtzoukou, 24, was arrested on unrelated libel charges filed by her stepfather while at the Ampelokipoi Police Station to report alleged defamation by a journalist. Currently under scrutiny in a homicide investigation into the deaths of five children, authorities clarified that her arrest is not connected to that case. Mourtzoukou, who spent the night in custody, is set to appear in court today to face the libel allegations.
