Six beaches on the island of Rhodes have lost their prestigious Blue Flag awards for 2024 due to shortcomings in organization and adherence to program criteria. The beaches were removed for failing to organize a swimming season, lacking proper services and information, and neglecting environmental management practices. While the water quality remains excellent, these deficiencies led to the withdrawal of the awards.
