Greece has nominated Apostolos Tzitzikostas for EU Commissioner. Tzitzikostas, governor of Central Macedonia and former president of the European Committee of the Regions, is known for his experience and strong support. His nomination underscores Macedonia’s strategic importance in Europe. Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis will meet with him to discuss the nomination.
