A full-scale replica of a Mycenaean warship, featured in the Homeric epics, will be displayed at the Hellenic Maritime Museum on October 19. The event, "NIES PONTOPORII: Building the Myth," will showcase the ancient shipbuilding techniques used to construct the eikosoros—a ship with two rows of 10 oars—and provide insights into the maritime heritage of ancient Greece.
