The inspiration behind “PIMATA” is a deeply personal one, rooted in the profound loss of Doris’ beloved son, Angelo. Last June, Angelo’s battle with bowel and liver cancer came to an end, leaving a void in the lives of those who cherished him. In the wake of this heartbreak, Doris turned to writing as a form of therapy and self-expression.
