President Katerina Sakellaropoulou awarded the Senior Brigadier of the Order of Honour to composer Yannis Markopoulos (posthumously), lyricist Lefteris Papadopoulos, and composer Mimis Plessas for their contributions to Greek music. Markopoulos's daughter, Lena, accepted the award on his behalf.
