Over €12.8 million in disaster relief has been distributed to businesses in Thessaly and Evros impacted by severe floods and wildfires in 2023. The aid, processed through the "myBusinessSupport" platform, supports 1,313 businesses as part of a government effort led by the Ministry of Climate Crisis and Civil Protection and other agencies. The majority of funds were directed to flood-hit Thessaly, while relief in Evros focused on tourism businesses affected by wildfires.

A very high fire risk (category 4) is forecasted for tomorrow across several Greek regions, including Attica, parts of the Peloponnese, Central Greece, Thessaly, and Crete. A new platform has been launched to offer temporary accommodation for those affected by the recent fire in Attica, developed by the Hellenic Chamber of Hotels and supported by local authorities. Residents can apply through the platform or contact the helpline at 213 2047893. Additionally, the Olympic Stadium (OAKA) has been opened to shelter evacuees as long as the fire risk remains high.
Powerful storms sweeping across Greece have sparked 62 fires and widespread flooding. The Fire Brigade has contained most fires, while efforts continue in key areas.
