His luxury estate near Cuffley, purchased for £10.75 million, became the center of a tax dispute when he claimed it qualified for a stamp duty discount due to its agricultural use. However, HMRC ruled the property was entirely residential, leading to a tribunal decision that upheld the full tax amount.
