A sharp increase in the SARS-CoV-2 viral load has been detected in Thessaloniki’s wastewater, according to measurements by the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and the Thessaloniki Water Supply & Sewerage. The latest data shows a 66% rise in the viral load compared to previous measurements, indicating a significant increase in the spread of the virus.
