Evzones Visit Sydney & Adelaide 2025: Honouring Anzac Day & Greek Australian Bonds. The Greek Presidential Guard (Evzones) will visit Australia from April 23 to May 4, 2025, joining Anzac Day commemorations and cultural events in Adelaide and Sydney. Hosted by the Hellenic Studies Foundation, Hellenic Club Sydney, and the Joint Committee for the Commemoration of the Battle of Crete, this historic tour celebrates the deep ties between Greece and Australia.
A Greek Parliament delegation will visit Sydney for the March 25th National Day celebrations, followed by the Evzones’ participation in ANZAC Week events across Sydney and Adelaide from April 28th to May 4th. The MPs, led by Stavros Keletsi, will engage with community leaders and hold a press conference on March 27th, highlighting the strong Greece-Australia bond.
