Frenchman dies during graffiti spree on Athens train carriage

A 19-year-old French man was killed on Wednesday during a graffiti spree on train carriages in Athens.

According to Greek police authorities, the young man was spraying graffiti on carriages in the railway station of Thisio in central Athens, when he suddenly dropped dead.

An investigation has been launched into the death, but according to police early indications point to electrocution as the most likely cause of death.

Police and firemen arrived at the scene but his death was declared as soon as he was transferred to hospital.

Authorities have launched an investigation.
