Award-winning Greek Australian television program Meraki TV is set to heat up our screens this summer with its new season premiering Monday 16th October.

Renowned for its exclusive interviews and behind the scenes access to leading artists, literary figures and politicians, this season will also see the launch of an unplugged segment highlighting local musicians including George Doukas, Aegean Quartet, Tommy Tsonis and Tassos Bouzouki.

Hosted by the multi talented Ana Sevo who brings an infectious warmth, enthusiasm and patriotic flair to every episode, she is joined by a team of fascinating contributors from different backgrounds including DJ Krazy Kon, artist Noula Diamantopoulos and writer and film-maker Billy Cotsis.

“The new season will kick off with highlights from the Greek Film Festival as well as film reviews,” says Sevo, who is also the show’s creator and Executive Producer. “Viewers are also in for a treat in our exclusive interviews with singer Ilias Vrettos and director Lex Marinos.”

“In amongst the music, gossip, community and current affairs, we’ve also extended the Kids Corner and we will be launching our Greek School Christmas Competition for all primary school kids in Greek school,” says Sevo.

Made by Greeks for Greeks living in Australia, one of the show’s main goals is to enable second, third and fourth generation Greeks to connect, share their unique experience, learn about the positive aspects of their culture and feel pride in their heritage and the connection that they feel towards it.

Tune in or set your planners to Meraki TV Mondays 7pm Aurora Channel on Foxtel.
