Demonstrators held protests outside the Turkish consulate in Thessaloniki on Monday, demanding the release of the two Greek servicemen detained without charges by Turkish authorities four months ago.

The group of demonstrators called “Greek Mothers” held photos of the two soldiers, and asked to meet with the Turkish consul general for their release but their request was denied.

The gathering was organised online and also aimed at showing support to the families of the two soldiers.
