Greece wins 2 Gold medals at Children’s European Taekwondo Championship

Theophanis Nicolaou and Theopoula Sarvanaki have won gold medals for Greece at the Children’s European Clubs Taekwondo Championship, which took place in Spain over the weekend.

Theophanis Nicolaou competed in the 57kg category and beat four opponents before landing the gold and stepping up on the podium to accept his medal.

Theopoula Sarvanakis competed in the 55kg category and beat a Spaniard opponent in the semi-final 20-10 and a Russian  24 -11 in the final to take home the gold.
