Over 400 people seriously injured on Greek roads over holidays

Greece police announced on Wednesday that thirty-five people lost their lives and 489 were injured (26 seriously) in a total of 407 road traffic accidents that took place during the holiday season.

In 2018, the equivalent numbers were 36 dead and 545 injured (28 seriously) in a total of 452 accidents, the announcement continued, and reminded drivers that diligent driving and respect of road traffic rules are instrumental for arriving safely at one’s destination and for avoiding road traffic accidents.
