A very serious and violent encounter occurred yesterday morning at Ermou street in the heart of Monastiraki, Athens, with the incident unfolding in front of a crowd of locals and tourists who witnessed the brutal fight.
According to SKAI news, it all started at about 8:30am when the Roma drivers began arguing. One of the cars intercepted the other, then the passengers got out and a fierce struggle between about 20 people, including minors began.
Four people were injured during the fight, two of them were left unconscious.
According to SKAI, the violence lasted more than an hour and ended with police intervention. It is unknown if there have been any arrests made.
