A huge fire in the area of Koutsouria in Nafplion, has now been contained.
According to the Fire Service, the fire burned grassland near a residential area-on a hill just after the houses.
Twenty-six firefighters, twelve fire engines, one helicopter and two fire aircrafts extinguished the fire which was heading towards Agia Moni.
The road that connects Nafplion to Karathona is currently closed.
Greek authorities are urging people not to travel near the area.
