Police clear Israelis of suspected gang rape and arrest British accuser

By 5 years ago

Cyprus police have released the seven Israelis held in suspicion of gang raping a teenage British tourist in Cyprus earlier this month.

According to sources, the British tourist filed a false report against the Israelis because they filmed her during the sex acts without her consent.

She has now been arrested for filing a false complaint and will face court tomorrow.

"As I have argued throughout the process there was no rape in Cyprus, the young men who went on a vacation that became a nightmare will go home today, and everyone will return to their homes and families. The Cyprus Police conducted a thorough professional investigation,” Attorney Nik Jeslovich, who represents some of the Israeli suspects stated.

Twelve Israelis were originally arrested for the alleged rape that occurred in Ayia Napa, after the 19-year-old claimed the suspects gang raped her in a hotel room.
