Greece loses to Brazil in nail-biting second game at the 2019 FIBA Basketball World Cup

The Greek National Basketball team lost to Brazil 79-78 on Tuesday, in their second group match at the 2019 FIBA Basketball World Cup.

It was a nail-biting game that had everyone on the edge of their seats until the last second of the match.

Summary:

1st Quarter: Brazil 15 – Greece 19

2nd Quarter: Brazil 15 – Greece 21

3rd Quarter: Brazil 26 – Greece 13

4th Quarter: Brazil 23 – Greece 25

TOTAL: Brazil 79 – Greece 78

The Greeks will play their final match in Group F against New Zealand on Thursday 5th September at 15:00 (*Greek time). 

On Monday, the boys started off their 2019 FIBA Basketball World Cup campaign with a win, beating Montenegro 85-60.
