One of Greece’s most popular artists, Nikos Vertis has become a Nono, baptising the daughter of his longtime friend, Thomas Keramida.

The christening of Charikleia (Χαρίκλεια) took place at Saints Constantine and Helen Orthodox Metropolitan Church in Glyfada.

Thomas Keramidas is a well-known civil engineer and owner of Be Twins, a popular cafe/restaurant at The Mall in Athens.

After the christening, guests celebrated the christening at the Riviera Coast in Voula.

Some of the famous guests in attendance included Greek footballer Alexandros Tzorvas and his wife Chrysavgi Atsidakou, musical artist Nikos Vourliotis and his wife Olga Karpathaki, actor Thanasis Viskadourakis and his wife Katerina Giota, Greek singer STAN,  film producer John Kagioulis and famous plastic surgeon Dr. Rodopoulou Villy.

Nikos spoke to media after the christening, stating that it was a blessing to be a godfather and put oil on a very good friends child, who was very quiet for the service.

The well-known singer is now currently in America, preparing for his tour around the US and Canada starting on October 3.
