The water underneath the famous stone bridge of Kokkori in Zagori, Epirus has stopped moving and is frozen in place, creating a unique spectacle caused by low temperatures.
Not only has the low temperatures across Greece in recent days caused power outages, traffic disruptions and damages to properties/roads, but also intense frost creating icy road conditions.
Locals in Northern Greece reported that temperatures dropped as low as -10°C in the early hours of Thursday morning.
Temperatures are forecasted to rise again in the coming days.
