Air France is making it a whole lot easier to travel from Paris to Greece over the peak season, as the leading French airline carrier is adding three new Greek destinations to its summer 2020 scheduling.

The company announced on Tuesday, they will be including Thessaloniki and the islands of Mykonos and Santorini, to their routes flying from Paris from July 13 to August 30. The flight to Thessaloniki will take place on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, to Santorini on Wednesdays and to Mykonos on Mondays and Wednesdays.

The Paris-Thessaloniki, Paris-Santorini and Paris-Mykonos routes will all launch on July 13 and run until August 30.

Air France’s flight AF1038 will depart from Paris-Charles de Gaulle on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays at 7:30 am to arrive in Thessaloniki at 11:30 am. The return flight AF1039 will depart from Thessaloniki at 12:20 pm to arrive in Paris at 2:30 pm.

“With this new flight to and from Thessaloniki, Air France will now be offering 45 flights a week and KLM 14, in addition to the summer flights to and from the regional airports of France, Nice, Toulouse, Marseille, and Bordeaux, also including the Heraklion – Marseille route,” Yiannis Pantazopoulos, regional manager of the Air France-KLM Group in Athens, said, adding that Air France will be operating a total of 11 flights per week for the high summer season with Airbus A320s.

“Both Air France and KLM have been present in Greece for many years, supporting Greek tourism, business and commercial traffic between the countries,” Pantazopoulos said, underlining that with the new routes, the group demonstrates its confidence in both the Greek market and the country’s tourism.
