Coronavirus doesn't stop a group of grandfathers from enjoying a coffee together

By 4 years ago

Even though Greece is in lockdown, a group of παππούδες (grandfathers) from Agnantia in Trikala are still finding a way to come together, while maintaining social distancing.

In the central square of the village, 7 grandfathers placed their chairs 1.5-2 meters apart and enjoyed their καφέ (coffee), each others 'distant' company and conversations which of course included catching up on the 'latest gossip'.

Before the worldwide coronavirus pandemic, these local παππούδες could be found at their usual καφενείο (cafe), spending time together for hours on end.
