Oldest coronavirus patient in Greece is 101-years-old

According to an epidemiological report published by the Hellenic National Public Health Organisation (EODY), the oldest person in Greece infected with coronavirus is a 101-year-old man, who is currently hospitalised.

The EODY report revealed a wide range of statistical data about the spread of COVID-19 in Greece.

At the time of writing, Greece has a total of 1,755 confirmed cases. 54.9% of the total infected are men.

The death toll stands at 79. The average age of patients who have died is 74.

Regarding coronavirus breakdowns by age, EODY's report shows that the oldest patient is a 101-year-old man, while the youngest is a 1-year-old child.

The youngest person to die from coronavirus in Greece was 39-years-old.
