It took 17 whole years to see for the first time photos from the wedding of Despina Vandi and Demis Nikolaidis.
On Easter Monday night, the popular Greek singer was invited by Nikos Hatzinikolaou to be a guest on his weekly talk-show 'Enopios-Enopio' (face-to-face) and for the first time, three wedding photos were shown on the show, which took place on June 17, 2003.
Vandi's fans saw her dressed as a bride for the first time, as photos from her wedding have never been released or seen publicly.
The wedding of Despina Vandi and Demis Nikolaidis in 2003 was the event of the year. It took place at the Nasioutzik Estate in Athens, in the presence of about 80 guests, relatives and friends.
And although the paparazzi and TV cameras tried to get footage or even one click of Despina Vandi as a bride, they never managed. The press at the time commented that the security men hired by the couple to protect their privacy, were more than the number of guests.
