It was the first day of summer and rather than sunshine and heat, a thunderstorm broke out in Athens.
The heavy rain was accompanied by squalls of winds and lighting, while hail also fell in Maroussi and Kifissia.
The images are reminiscent of the beginning of autumn, not summer!
The bad weather will continue on Tuesday, as more rain and thunderstorms are forecasted.
