James Bond star Sean Connery dies at age 90

James Bond actor Sir Sean Connery has died at the age of 90.

The Edinburgh-born Scotsman died in The Bahamas and no immediate cause of death was given.

Connery is best known for starring in seven Bond films, including every film from Dr. No to You Only Live Twice, plus Diamonds Are Forever and Never Say Never Again, between 1962 and 1983.

The Scottish actor, who was knighted by the Queen of the United Kingdom in 2000, went on to win an Oscar, two Baftas and three Golden Globes.

The Academy Award winner had a luxurious house on the ‘Greek Riviera’ of Porto Heli and often visited the holiday house.
