Greek Australian Dialogue Series with Christos Staikouras, Greece's Finance Minister

Greece’s Minister of Finance, Christos Staikouras is the next speaker of the Greek Australian Dialogue Series, which will take place on Tuesday, March 16 at 5pm.

During the video conference, the Minister will talk about his Government’s strategies in bolstering Greece’s business environment, diversifying production, fostering productivity through investment and innovation, and boosting employment, as key areas Greece is focusing on to drive the post COVID-19 recovery.

Staikouras will underline that a resilient, inclusive and sustainable recovery will require international cooperation.

The Minister will also present Greece’s recovery plan which will focus on 12 key areas, and the government’s priorities including transitioning to greener practices, digital transformation and enhancing skills and productivity.

Following his presentation, there will be a Q&A session.

The video conference has been organised by Katia Gkikiza, Trade Commissioner of Greece in Australia, Consulate General of Greece in Sydney and Paul Nicolaou, Director of the Australian Chamber of Commerce & Industry Business Leaders Council.
