The Deputy Minister of Tourism, Sofia Zacharaki, explained the criteria to allow tourists to visit Greece this summer.

As she said: "This year we will allow tourism because we have more tools than last year - vaccinations and more tests."

"And we have updated protocols this year, based on conclusions from last year, which we have improved," she said.

"The checks will be made at the entrance gates," Zackaraki added.

According to Zacharaki, tourists from abroad will be able to come earlier than May if they have been vaccinated for COVID-19.
