Greek Laïko singer Giorgos Tsalikis was seen in an Orthodox Church in Sydney last night where he carried the Epitafio.
Giorgos attended St. Stephanos Greek Orthodox Church in Hurlstone Park, Sydney on Holy Friday Evening for The Lamentation Service and the Procession of the Holy Epitaph.
Giorgos spoke to the congregation after the mass in an emotional address saying, "Greeks of the world have not seen each other for so long."
"In Greece the pandemic has hurt us a lot. People have lost their jobs. They haven't seen their relatives.
"But I'm happy because the Greek have not lost their faith in Mary, Jesus and the saints.
"When I return to Greece I will tell everyone of another miracle...of what I experienced here today with you.
"God bless you all. Kali Anastasi."

Giorgos will be performing two shows in Sydney after having to postpone his performance that had been scheduled for last year due to COVID-19.
Born in 1975, Tsalikis’ impressive career has spanned over the last 20 years.
His high energy performances and party anthems have contributed to his popularity and success as a Greek entertainer to this day.
His hit songs include “Eimai mia hara”, “Ekana ti nihta mera”, “Apagorevmeno”, “Asto” and his most recent single “Ftais”.
