Turkish spy planes violated Greek airspace dozens of times on Thursday.
Specifically, in the Northeast, Central and Southeast Aegean, two spy CN-235s committed 28 violations of Greek national airspace.
Four violations of air traffic rules in the Athens Flight Information Region were recorded by four F-16 fighters.
The foreign aircrafts, as reported by Hellenic National Defence General Staff (GEETHA), were identified and intercepted in accordance with international rules, according to established practice.
It is recalled that the Turkey violated Greek airspace over 40 times in a single day last month.
In 2020, Turkey violated Greek airspace over 400 times.
