A shock in the women's second round to report as Greece's 15th seed Maria Sakkari, a semi-finalist at the French Open just a few weeks, loses in straight sets to America's Shelby Rogers on court five.
American Shelby Rogers, the world No 46, toppled Greece’s Maria Sakkari on Day 4 in a match that was suspended due to darkness on Wednesday after the first set.
Rogers reaches the third round at Wimbledon for the second time, and first time since 2017.
Rogers will now face 18th seed Elena Rybakina, of Kazakhstan, in the last 32.
