70% of elderly people in Greece are fully vaccinated

A large percentage of the elderly Greek population are beginning to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

70% of people over the age of 60 have completed their vaccination, according to Mario Themistocleous.

Posting on his Twitter account, the Secretary General of Primary Care of the Ministry of Health, added: "We continue."

According to data from Greek health authorities, a total of 8,966,023 vaccinations have been performed in Greece (+81,601 yesterday), of which:

  • 5,120,640 single dose vaccinations ( +38,870 yesterday)
  • 4,105,653 completed vaccinations ( +47,510 yesterday)
