An unexpected incident happened yesterday afternoon in central Athens when a large tree collapsed at a restaurant where U.S. Ambassador to Greece Geoffrey Pyatt and U.S. Senator Bob Menendez were eating at.
The tree fell, surprising store staff , customers and passers-by.
No one was injured when the tree fell.
Menendez is visiting the Greek capital and will meet with Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis later on Thursday.
